🕰️ The History of the Blagaj Tekke

The tekke was built in the 15th century by the Ottomans for dervishes of the Halveti order. Over time, it also served members of the Bektashi and other Sufi orders. The structure bears traces of classical Ottoman Sufi architecture and includes tombs, a prayer room, and guest quarters inside.

Although it was damaged during the war, it has been restored and reopened to visitors. Today, it is used both for worship and cultural visits. Every year, thousands of tourists come here to discover this spiritual site surrounded by nature.
